We’re delighted to officially launch the Just Eat National Takeaway Awards 2017 with broadcaster Louise Duffy and comedian Colm O’Regan. These awards recognise the quality of food and service consistently delivered by this important sector of the food services industry. Not only is it a chance for your customers to show their appreciation by voting for you, but we are also giving them a chance to win free takeaway for a year! 

Now entering their fourth year, the Just Eat National Takeaway Awards have become a significant date in the industry calendar. With over 40 cuisine types now available on Just Eat nationwide, including healthy options such as Thai, gluten free, coeliac and Japanese, the Awards will acknowledge the importance of choice for consumers. There are 20 categories for customers to vote on so make sure you do everything you can to get them voting!

The Just Eat National Takeaway Awards will reveal a number of winners, including Ireland’s favourite takeaway restaurant as well as the nation’s favourite takeaway dish. It’s a great way to recognise the hard work and dedication of businesses in the industry, and the importance of giving consumers a chance to get behind their favourite local takeaway.

How does the Voting work?

The voting is open for all takeaway restaurants throughout Ireland  online at www.just-eat.ie/takeawayawards2017, closing on 25th September with a shortlist announcement on 28th.

The shortlist vote will then close on the 9th October.

The Awards categories are as follows: Best Takeaway Ireland, Best Takeaway Dublin, Best Takeaway Leinster, Best Takeaway Munster, Best Takeaway Connaught, Best Takeaway Ulster, Best Takeaway Chinese, Best Takeaway Indian, Best Takeaway Thai, Best Takeaway Pizza, Best Takeaway Chipper, Best Takeaway Mexican, Best Takeaway Japanese, Best Takeaway Curry, Best Takeaway American, Best Takeaway Healthy, Best Takeaway Lunchtime, Best Takeaway Spicebag, Best Takeaway Salad, Ireland’s Favourite Dish

When are the winners announced?

The winners will be announced at our Awards Night taking place on 17th October 2017 in Number 22, South Anne St, Dublin 2, and are this year hosted by Louise Duffy and Colm O’Regan.

All shortlisted restaurant partners will be invited, so we look forward to seeing you there!

How can my restaurant or takeaway get involved?

Be sure to get your customers to vote for you! Here are 3 easy ways to get more votes:

1. Use your window of opportunity…put up your posters and wobblers in the shop!
