Have you ever wondered why JUST EAT is so popular?  Well, we talk to the right customers, at the right time, about the right things!  We use email, Facebook and Twitter, along with TV, Billboards and much much more.

Just-Eat’s online marketing activity is one of the best in the Irish industry. All working towards getting you more orders. It covers everything from email to social networks (Facebook, Twitter etc) and Google search results. Since 2008, we have invested millions in building our online presence, to highlight your business.

Here’s a quick run down of what’s happening in our Email and Social Media activity:

We send a weekly e-newsletter to thousands of active JUST EAT users.  This contains a combination of fun food articles and a section highlighting local takeaways to make sure takeaway is always at the top of their minds.

Across the internet we have a wide selection of different banner adverts that appear on some of Ireland’s most active and busiest websites, helping to promote exclusive JUST EAT Deals and remind users of why they should order a delicious takeaway.  Our popular TV adverts are also used online on YouTube as “pre-roll” adverts – which are video adverts that play before You-Tube videos – to help support our TV advertising campaigns and remind users about the varied and wide cuisine choices that are on offer.

On Facebook we’re now more popular than Domino’s Pizza Ireland with over 79 thousand fans (that’s double their 43 thousand). We post interesting and engaging content at least once a day at the times we know JUST EAT users are online to help encourage them to think about food and order takeaway. On Twitter we have nearly 5,000 followers and again we post out messages to remind people about Just-Eat and encourage orders, along with having some fun too!

We also use Facebook and Twitter to answer customer care queries, so no comments or tweets are missed!

We are proud of our social presence and will continue to grow in the coming weeks, months and years – our mission?  To empower customers to love their takeaway experience.

Oh and a quick tip from us…

Why not encourage your delivery staff to request reviews from your customers when delivering their orders. The higher ranking on our “rate and review” section, the closer you’ll get to the top of our site!
